Doctor
Al Wagener , V.M.D. Dr. Wagener graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. After practicing in Fairfax, Virginia and St. Petersburg, Florida, he opened Blue Ridge Animal Hospital in March 1974. Since then he has established Blue Ridge Animal Hospital as the first American Animal Hospital Association member hospital in Buncombe County. He was also the first veterinarian in North Carolina to take and pass the American Board of Veterinary Practitioner's certification test for diplomat status in companion animal medicine and surgery. He is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association.
Management
Blaike Lorton Ms. Lorton has been an essential member of Blue Ridge Animal Hospital Inc.'s family since 1998. While serving as overall manager of the hospital, Ms. Lorton is also persuing a degree as a Veterinary Health Technician.
Charity Weaver Ms. Weaver is the office manager for Blue Ridge Animal Hospital Inc, overseeing the reception our clients receive when they call or visit our hospital.
